Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse position is based in an acute care setting requiring specialized patient care skills. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks according to accepted standards, assessing patient health, and developing individualized care plans. The ICU Nurse also provides health teaching, therapy, and treatment support to promote patient recovery and well-being within the scope of practice.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited school of nursing, current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association, and at least 0 years of experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree of Nursing and certification relevant to the ICU setting are preferred
• Additional Information: The role may require the nurse to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business needs. May be placed on-call during scheduled shift to meet patient care requirements
