Job Summary: The organization is seeking an ICU Nurse (Intensive Care Unit) in a night shift role. This position involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. The role includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to promote patient well-being.
Job Details:
Position requires an ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited School of Nursing. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice is required.
Certifications required include BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS (American Heart Association).
Schedule: Night shifts, 3-12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week.
Requires a minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience in ICU.
Candidates must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily, including health data assessment, health teaching, health counseling, therapy, and treatment planning.
Prior experience as a registered nurse in ICU is preferred.
May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications, based on business needs.
No on-call requirement specified.
Must have and maintain a current RN license along with required certifications.
