Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at a healthcare facility in Philadelphia, PA. This role involves providing advanced patient care within the intermediate care unit that is part of the Float Pool. The ICU RN will handle a diverse patient population including Med/Surg, Progressive Care Unit (PCU), and Intensive Care Unit (ICU), with a patient-to-nurse ratio managing patient stability and acuity.

Job Details:

• Location: Philadelphia, PA
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree from an accredited school of nursing, PA or MSL Compact - Registered Nurse License, Basic Life Support certification, at least 2 years of RN experience including relevant clinical specialty, and a total of 23 years of experience in the field
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous ICU experience, additional specialty certifications may be advantageous
• Additional Information: The RN will assess, implement, and evaluate patient care under the supervision of a licensed physician. Responsibilities include directing support staff, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring individualized patient care based on nursing principles and policies. The position requires knowledge of critical care procedures, high-acuity patient management, and adherence to hospital protocols.
