Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - Night Shift The organization is seeking an experienced Critical Care Nurse to join the Intensive Care Unit team. This role involves caring for high-acuity neuro, cardiovascular, trauma, and surgical patients in a fast-paced, magnet-designated facility. The ideal candidate will have strong neuro experience and the ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment.

Job Details

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, LA Fire Card; required at time of submission
• Education/Degree Requirements: Valid state license; minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in ICU or similar setting
• Location Requirements: Local radius of 50 miles; local candidates accepted
• Years of Experience: 2 years minimum in ICU or critical care
• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Responsibilities include managing arterial lines, ventilated patients, post-surgical care, cardiovascular and neuro assessments, and emergency procedures
• Preferred qualifications include community hospital experience, trauma level II certification, and charting experience in Epic
• Float: Float rotation may be required between ICU overflow and PCU units
• Additional Information: Candidates must have previous charge experience, patient ratio experience (2:1 nights), and be comfortable with high-acuity neuro patient populations. Travel experience is required.
