Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020–$2,130

• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend

ICU Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin or a compact RN license in hand
• At least 1 year of recent Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and every third weekend
• Flexibility to float to the cardiovascular ICU, intermediate care, and nearby intensive care units as needed
• Travel nurses residing within 50 miles of the assignment location may not qualify
• Requested time off must be submitted at the time of application

Travel ICU RN Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in a Medical ICU
• Assess patient conditions, monitor changes, and promptly escalate clinical concerns
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and current nursing standards
• Manage and monitor complex patient care needs, including invasive lines, ventilators, and continuous infusions as appropriate to the unit
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Educate patients and families while providing compassionate support during critical illness
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and promote patient safety throughout each shift
• Adapt to floating assignments while maintaining high-quality care across critical care and intermediate care settings
