Registered Nurse (RN) Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – Travel/Agency Assignment We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on a travel/agency assignment. This opportunity is ideal for an ICU nurse who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while providing high-quality, patient-centered critical care. Charting System EPowerDoc Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill and medically complex patients. Perform detailed patient assessments and continuously monitor changes in condition. Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and critical care interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols. Operate and monitor advanced medical equipment, including cardiac monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, and other critical care devices. Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans. Accurately document assessments, interventions, medications, and patient progress using the EPowerDoc electronic medical record. Respond promptly to medical emergencies, rapid responses, and code situations. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, procedures, and recovery expectations while providing compassionate support during critical illness. Qualifications Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license. Previous ICU or Critical Care experience required. Strong assessment, critical thinking, communication, and time management skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing complex patient conditions. Physical Requirements Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift. Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations and assist with patient transfers, resuscitative efforts, and critical care procedures.
