Job Summary An ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Registered Nurse (RN) is needed in Bakersfield, California. This role involves delivering coordinated nursing care for a patient or group of patients based on established standards of care and the nursing process. The position requires supervising and directing nursing staff activities, coordinating care with other disciplines, and utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) ICU (Intensive Care Unit)
Location: Bakersfield, California
Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN), current RN licensure in the state of practice, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an acute care facility and familiarity with electronic health record systems.
Essential Functions: Collects relevant data pertinent to the patients health or situation, analyzes assessment data, develops and implements care plans, evaluates progress, and collaborates with the healthcare team. Provides education to patients and families, participates in discharge planning, delegates tasks appropriately, and performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Additional Information: The RN will deliver care in a safe, healing, humane, and caring environment, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes.
