Job Summary Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Glendale. This position involves delivering coordinated nursing care for ICU patients based on established standards and the nursing process. The role includes supervising and directing activities of nursing staff, coordinating care with other disciplines, and ensuring patient safety and well-being.
Job Details
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN); Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care facility.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an acute care environment is preferred.
Additional Information: The RN will collect relevant patient data, analyze assessments to determine diagnosis and care needs, develop and implement care plans, evaluate progress, and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide safe, effective care. Responsibilities include participating in discharge planning, delegating duties appropriately, and providing health education. The organization emphasizes staff vaccination compliance and participates in E-Verify.
