Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Decatur, Georgia.
Job Summary: RN - ICU at Emory Decatur Hospital (Decatur, GA)
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Utilize assessment skills and clinical judgment to deliver high-quality patient care
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members for effective patient management
- Monitor, interpret, and respond to complex patient conditions and vital signs
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as per physician’s orders
- Document patient care accurately in electronic health records
- Utilize specialized equipment (PA/ICP/IABP/CRRT preferred but not required)
- Possess and maintain NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
- Maintain a valid Georgia or compact state RN license
- 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
- Position open to candidates residing 50+ miles from facility (no local travelers)
Med Ninjas Job ID #15693. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
