Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is based in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. The role involves providing critical care to patients in a 20-bed unit with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:2. This assignment includes a night shift schedule, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on August 10, 2026. The position requires the ability to float to the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed, and candidates must meet all specified clinical and licensing requirements.
Job Details:
- Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts, 725 North Street
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license, current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification, 2 years current Critical Care experience, willingness to float to PCU, own vehicle, ability to include all scheduled time off at submission, and all required documentation including supervisory reference, license, and certifications
- Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Additional Information:
- Personal scrubs of any color acceptable
- Block scheduling is not available for this need
- Dressed in personal scrubs of any color
- Submit all scheduling requests at the time of application; requests after offer or interview may be rescinded
- Travelers without voicemails set up on their phones will be redirected
- All RTO (Time Off) requests must be included in the profile and verified at upload; no requests after upload or interview are accepted beyond five days.
- Must upload perm address with profile and ensure all travel arrangements are confirmed prior to submission.
