Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• 12-hour day shifts
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Float between Neuro Critical Care ICU and MSICU units with possible float to other critical care and inpatient units as needed
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• No on-call or callback requirements; contract is eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours that can be taken in hour increments as needed
• Perform Neuro assessments and basic bedside ICU procedures including line placement and intubation
• Perform Neuro-specific procedures including bolt and drain bedside placements with Neurosurgery
• Care for patients including Stroke, TBI, head injury, and Neurosurgery patients
• Familiarity with EVDs and ICP monitoring required
• Strong assessment skills in Neuro required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required with Med/Surg ICU and/or Neuro ICU background; 1 travel assignment preferred
• Experience as Neuro Interventionalist a plus
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS (AHA or ARC), and NIHSS
• EPIC charting experience required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• Any scrub color permitted

This healthcare facility features an 8-bed Neuro unit that serves a specialized patient population including Stroke, TBI, head injury, and Neurosurgery patients. The facility operates both a Neuro Critical Care ICU and a Med/Surg ICU, providing comprehensive critical care services.
