We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for a 12-hour day shift ICU position in Batavia, New York. This travel/contract role requires a commitment of 36 guaranteed hours per week. As an ICU RN, you will float to med/surg as needed and cover every other weekend. The unit handles a diverse patient population, including young adults to the elderly, with conditions such as cardiac, respiratory, neuro, and GI diseases, as well as post-operative care. Responsibilities include managing ventilators, titratable drips, and assisting with procedures like intubations, chest tubes, and A-lines. This position requires strong clinical skills and adaptability to handle high-acuity patients in a dynamic environment. Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS are mandatory, and experience with EPIC EMR is preferred.
