ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Chicago, IL. This position involves providing critical care to patients in the intensive care unit. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high-acuity patient care and demonstrate the ability to float to various inpatient units as necessary.

Schedule and Requirements

• Orientation: First shift orientation with 6 hours non-billable.
• Contract Length: 12 weeks.
• Scheduled Hours: 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required.
• Holiday Requirement: As needed, candidates should be prepared to work on holidays unless previously requested off.
• Floating Requirement: Ability to float to all other inpatient units as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required; 3-5 years preferred.
• New Graduates: Not accepted for this position.
• Licensure and Certification:
  • Current IL RN License
  • BLS Certification
  • ACLS Certification
  • NIHSS Certification

Additional Information

Payroll is processed biweekly, and credentials are due the Thursday before the start date of the contract. This position does not require on-call obligations.
