Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Epic experience preferred
• Strong assessment, prioritization, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital environment
• Experience with cardiac critical care, hemodynamic monitoring, CRRT, mechanical circulatory support, or Swan-Ganz monitoring is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for critically ill patients
• Use the nursing process in accordance with unit policies, procedures, and hospital standards
• Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changing clinical conditions
• Perform and prioritize nursing interventions based on patient needs
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and thoroughly
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Educate patients and families as appropriate to support understanding and discharge readiness
• Support quality improvement, patient safety, and unit-based education initiatives
• Complete required reports, communication, and handoff documentation in a timely manner
