Hours: 36 hrs/week

Experience:2 years recent ICU experience required
Weekend: Every other weekend
Floating: Yes — all inpatient units except Maternity/NICU
Unit: 34-bed Med-Surg ICU; Level I Trauma. Adult & pediatric patients >15; high-acuity cases including respiratory failure/ARDS, sepsis, stroke, cardiogenic shock, renal failure/CRRT, neuro, GI bleeds, and complex surgeries
Ratios: ICU 1:1–2; PCU 1:4–5; Med-Surg 1:5–6
Certifications:BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required
Drips/Skills: Must titrate vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, and antiarrhythmics; CRRT, Impella, balloon pump, ICP monitoring, etc. can be trained
Radius Rule:50 miles — permanent address must be outside 50 miles; driver’s license used to verify
Employment Restriction: Cannot currently be FT/PT/PRN with any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility, including CHI/Dignity
RTO: Up to 7 days per 13-week contract; must be submitted upfront
Holidays: 2 of 3 major holidays, or based on unit needs
Scrubs: Navy blue
Other: Artificial nails prohibited
