Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse position available in California. This role involves working in a Level II Trauma Center within an acute care hospital. The position requires providing specialized patient care for cardiac, neuro, trauma, and med-surgical patients, with a focus on critical care procedures and procedures such as the management of ventilated patients, arterial lines, and post-surgical care. The schedule includes night shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 08/24/2026.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: California license in hand, minimum 2 years of ICU experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, American Heart Association (AHA) certified.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Epic charting system experience, trauma level II certification, experience with neuro and cardiac critical care.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required between the contracted facility and sister facility approximately 16-20 miles away.
  • Additional Information: Candidate must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year). References covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years are required, with 2 references preferred. Certificates related to trauma and critical care preferred, including NIHSS, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS). Candidate must adhere to RTO restrictions and submit a copy of certifications upon application.
