Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current hospital ICU experience
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• Strong cardiac critical-care and medication-drip experience

Preferred Experience

• Previous Meditech experience
• Prior travel assignment experience
• Experience working in a large hospital ICU
• Balloon pump, CRRT and targeted-temperature-management experience

Patient Care and Procedures

• Coronary and cardiac critical-care patients
• Post-cardiac catheterization care
• Intra-aortic balloon pump management
• CRRT
• Hypothermia/targeted temperature management
• Cardioversion
• Central-line management
• Critical and titratable medication drips

Staffing

Both day and night shifts typically include:

• 13 bedside RNs
• One charge nurse
• One patient-care technician
