CCU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CCU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for day shifts. This position requires providing high-quality care to patients in critical conditions, utilizing advanced monitoring techniques and interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the Critical Care Unit (CCU).
• Monitor and assess patient condition through advanced hemodynamic and ICP monitoring.
• Manage and operate ventilators and other critical care equipment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following established protocols.
• Educate patients and their families regarding care plans and health management.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Massachusetts State License as a Registered Nurse required.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a critical care unit (CCU/ICU).
• Proficient in managing patients on ventilators and performing ICP and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

Shift Details

This position offers a 3x12-hour day shift schedule, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
