Job Requirements

• 3+ years of critical care or acute care experience in a Level 1 trauma hospital required
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Strong ICU clinical background with experience managing high-acuity patients
• Experience with CRRT required
• Experience with EVD required
• Experience with Swan-Ganz monitoring required
• Ability and willingness to float to like units as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition with accuracy and urgency
• Manage advanced critical care equipment and therapies, including CRRT, EVD, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support high-quality patient outcomes
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with clinical standards
• Document patient care thoroughly and accurately in the medical record
• Float to comparable units based on patient care needs and staffing priorities
• Maintain professional communication with patients, families, and care team members
