Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Boston, Massachusetts.

Neuroscience ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Neuroscience ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care experience and a passion for providing high-quality care to critically ill patients with neurological disorders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with complex neurological diagnoses including neurotrauma, status epilepticus, stroke, and spinal cord injuries.
  • Monitor and assess patients' conditions, implementing appropriate interventions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and disease processes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care within the unit.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of critical care nursing experience required.
  • At least 1 year of travel nursing experience required.
  • Preferred 2 years of specialized experience in neuro critical care nursing.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Valid nursing license with verification.

Shift Information

  • 36 hours per week, rotating day and night shifts.
  • Every other weekend and every other holiday commitment.
