Job Summary:
The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) registered nurse (RN) position is located in Reno, NV. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced, high-volume environment specializing in neurological, trauma, and general medical intensive care. The nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, ensuring optimal outcomes through the nursing process.

Job Details:

  • Location: 1155 Mill St, Reno, NV 89502
  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: NV RN license required prior to start; BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications; minimum 2 years of ICU experience in Neuro ICU; experience caring for Neuro Trauma and post Neuro-surgery patients.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with post Alteplase and/or post Thrombectomy patients, post neurosurgical patients with external ventricular drains.
  • Additional Information: Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level. May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during the schedule period. Schedule varies based on department needs and can include weekends, holidays, and call shifts. Travelers must work 2 of the 3 major holidays.
