The position includes supervising and directing various levels of nursing staff and coordinating care with other disciplines, utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment.
Job Details:
Position Description: Delivers nursing care in the Intensive Care Unit, supervises nursing staff, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient safety and healing.
Schedule: Rotating shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; acute care facility experience preferred; Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required.
Additional Information: Collects relevant patient health data, develops and implements care plans, collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare team members, and participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
