Job Details:
• Primarily work within the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with occasional float coverage to ED, Med/Surg, or Pediatrics during low census
• Provide nursing care to critically ill patients in a 5-bed ICU
• Perform a variety of responsible nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration of specific patient conditions and treatments
• Work independently in completing assignments following doctors' orders, standards of care, nursing policies and procedures, and hospital policies
• Provide inpatient care and support to individuals of all ages and their families
• Perform after-hours recovery of post-operative general surgery, pediatric, and OB patients as needed
• Minimum 3 years of prior ICU experience required
• Associate Degree in Nursing required
• Current valid unrestricted RN license to practice in any U.S. state, Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
• PALS (AHA) must be completed within 6 months of hire
• Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) must be completed within 6 months of hire
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) must be completed within 6 months of hire
• Shared contractor housing only - no pets or family members allowed

This JCAHO accredited health center serves a 4,400 square mile area and functions as a referral center for a large regional reservation community. The facility operates a 73-bed hospital offering comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services including emergency care, dental and ophthalmology services, orthopedics, OB/GYN, oral surgery, eye surgery, and urological procedures. Approximately 49% of surgeries performed are outpatient or ambulatory surgical procedures, supported by a diverse and highly specialized staff of medical providers across numerous specialties.
