The position requires experienced critical care professionals to provide specialized patient care in an acute care setting.
Job Details:
Position Description: The ICU unit is a high-demand environment with a focus on cardiac care, excluding transplant patients. This unit is transitioning to the EPIC charting system in November 2026.
Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS); valid license to submit; minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Schedule: Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with every other weekend shift, totaling a minimum of 48 hours per week.
Additional Information: The unit is extremely busy, with a specialty focus on cardiac care. The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts within a 13-week assignment, or 3 shifts for shorter periods. Applicants should have strong cardiac experience.
