Job Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license in hand
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• At least 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience required
• Experience with cardiac ICU, open-heart surgery, MICU, or SICU patients preferred
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced acute care and critical care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality bedside nursing care to cardiac ICU patients
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status throughout the shift
• Support patients recovering from open-heart and other complex cardiac procedures
• Care for medical ICU and surgical ICU patients as needed
• Float to MICU when required
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, effective patient outcomes
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately
