ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in a critical care environment. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and will have a strong background in managing critically ill patients.

Unit Description

The critical care unit consists of 14 beds and provides around-the-clock intensivist coverage. Our team serves adult and geriatric patients facing various medical and surgical challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Proficiently manage ventilators and titrate vasoactive medications.
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac dysrhythmia recognition and management.
• Administer post STEMI care as needed.
• Demonstrate competency in core critical care skills.
• Participate in continuous education to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts RN license required.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• A minimum of 2 years of ICU experience is required.
• CCRN certification is preferred.
• Able to demonstrate proficiency in core critical care skills.

Additional Information

This position involves 12-hour night shifts, rotating weekends, and holiday commitments. All requests for time off must be presented at the time of application, and holiday time off will not be considered.
