Staff Nurse Specialty Care / Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (ICU RN) – Day Shift

  • Schedule: Day Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours Per Week
    • Weekend Protocol: Every-other-weekend coverage required.
  • Assignment Duration: Contract Assignment | 1 Open Position | Job ID: 55027

Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]

  • Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 6 months to 3+ years of acute care nursing experience, including direct clinical experience managing high-acuity intensive cardiac and critical care populations [HARDSTOP].
  • Critical Care Clinical Competency [HARDSTOP]: Direct clinical proficiency required in:
    • Advanced cardiac support & devices: Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Impella, and Targeted Temperature Management / Normothermia [HARDSTOP].
    • Specialized acuity management: End-stage heart failure, cardiogenic shock, septic shock, severe GI bleeds, stroke interventions (Thrombectomy/TNK), and ICU overflow [HARDSTOP].
  • State Licensure [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]: Active New York State RN License [HARDSTOP].
  • Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - BOTH REQUIRED]:
    • Active AHA, HSI, or ARC BLS (Basic Life Support — Healthcare Provider) certification [HARDSTOP].
    • Active AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification [HARDSTOP].
  • EMR Requirement [HARDSTOP]: Direct clinical proficiency with Epic EMR strictly required [HARDSTOP].
  • Preferred Profile Enhancements: CCRN certification, TNCC, PALS, and BSN degree preferred.
