Job Overview

This position is designed for experienced registered nurses seeking to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. The role requires a commitment to working night shifts, with every other weekend availability, and includes responsibilities that may require floating to various departments as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in accordance with established protocols.
• Utilize Epic system for patient documentation and management.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patients’ conditions, including hemodynamic status and cardiac rhythms.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Coordinate care for holding patients in various departments, including PACU and step-down units.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of relevant nursing experience required.
• Current Massachusetts RN license (may apply at time of offer).
• Certifications: CPR-AHA, ACLS-AHA.
• Proven experience in ventilator management, vasoactive and sedation titration, and cardiac dysrhythmia recognition and management.
• CCRN certification preferred.

Additional Information

Candidates are required to complete a PASS/FAIL ECG/Tele test and medications test during the day one orientation. A maximum of one holiday off request is permitted and no more than three days of requested time off are allowed.

Note: This position is suitable for travelers without a separation period from previous assignments.
