Job Summary Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Specialist Days positioned at a facility located in the region. This role involves providing expert nursing care in multiple ICU settings, including Pediatric Intensive Care Units (PICU), Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU), and other specialized areas as required. The position requires flexibility to float between campuses and work on an every-other-weekend schedule, including holiday rotations.
Job Details
Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Active Georgia (GA) license or compact license, at least 2 years of experience in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CICU), current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic charting systems, specifically EPIC.
Additional Information: Must float to 2 campusesAMBH and SRand work either Thanksgiving or Christmas holiday rotation depending on need. All staff must be tested with a drug screen; facility is nicotine-free and requires the flu vaccine with no exemptions. Candidates are expected to make up any missed shifts.
