Medical ICU Float Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical ICU Float Registered Nurse to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and challenging environment, focusing on critically ill patients. The position is designed for those with a strong clinical background and the ability to adapt to various settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Medical ICU.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor vital signs, assess patient conditions, and implement necessary interventions.
• Assist with procedures and treatments while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Educate patients and their families on care plans, procedures, and health management.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of related work experience in a Medical ICU or similar setting.
• Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (CPR-AHA) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS-AHA).

Schedule

This position requires flexibility with a rotating schedule of 12-hour shifts, including days and nights, and a minimum commitment of 8 weeks. Orientation is held weekly, every Monday, excluding holidays.

Additional Information

Please note that parking expenses may range up to $43 per day in certain areas. It is essential to have all requests for time off presented at the time of submission, with a maximum of three days allowed and no holidays approved.
