Medical ICU Float Position

Job Description

This position is for an experienced Medical ICU Float. The role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt to different environments within a dynamic healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to patients in various ICU settings.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement treatment plans.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs.
• Administer medications and perform necessary procedures.
• Document patient care accurately and timely.
• Support a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years related work experience in a Medical ICU or Level 1 trauma environment.
• Current Massachusetts nursing license.
• CPR and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association).
• Solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including days and nights.
