HOT TRAVEL RN OPPORTUNITY – ADULT ICU | BALTIMORE, MD
⚕️ Position: Travel RN – Adult ICU
Location: Baltimore City, Maryland
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Schedule: 3×12s
Contract: 13 weeks
✨ High-acuity 16–24 bed Adult ICU
✨ Supportive, collaborative team environment
✨ Strong relationships across the hospital
✨ Typical 1:2 RN-to-patient ratio
✨ Occasional 1:1 based on acuity
✨ Rare 1:3 assignments based on staffing/acuity
✨ Precepting opportunities/requirements
✨ High-acuity critical care experience
• Continuous assessment and monitoring of critically ill patients
• Ventilator and life-support management
• Medication, fluid & treatment administration
• Assist with invasive procedures
• Central lines, arterial blood draws & intubation support
• Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition
• CRRT management
• Detailed ICU documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, RT and multidisciplinary teams
• Patient/family education and emotional support
✅ Registered Nurse – Compact License
✅ BLS
✅ ACLS
✅ CRRT Experience – Required
✅ Strong Adult ICU / Critical Care experience
✅ Ventilator management experience
✅ Comfortable caring for high-acuity patients
✅ Willingness to precept
Ideal for an experienced ICU RN looking for a high-acuity night assignment with strong 1:2 ratios and a collaborative critical-care environment.
