First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in San Angelo, Texas.

Contract Details

  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 4x12s
  • Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours/week preferred
  • Weekend: Every other weekend

Pay Breakdown

(Based on 48 hours)

  • W2 (taxable): $30.00/hr
  • OT for 8 hours: $45.00/week
  • Per Diem (Non-Taxable): $1245.00
  • Gross Weekly Pay: $2806.00

Requirements

  • Experience Required: 2+ years ICU experience
  • Certification Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC within 1 year of start date
  • Preferred Certifications: PALS, TNCC
  • License Required: Active RN license
  • Preferred: Previous Charge Nurse experience

  • Arterial line and central line management
  • PICC line management
  • Blood product administration
  • IV therapy and IV insertion
  • Chest tube management
  • BiPAP/CPAP and HFNC
  • Ventilator management
  • ABG interpretation
  • Continuous IV sedation and paralytics
  • Cardiac and vasoactive drip titration
  • CVA/acute stroke management
  • EVD and ICP monitoring
  • Arctic Sun/hypothermia protocols
  • Post-craniotomy and post-neurosurgery care
  • Spinal cord and traumatic brain injury management
  • IV insulin protocols
  • Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
  • Multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
  • GI surgery
  • Infection prevention and isolation precautions
  • Phlebotomy
