3B Healthcare Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Oxnard, California.

Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Oxnard, CA

Unit: ICU & CCU

Assignment: 13 Weeks

Start Date: December 7, 2026

Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

 

Required Qualifications

  • Active California RN license
  • Minimum 3 years of ICU experience preferred/required by unit management
  • Previous travel nursing experience preferred
  • General ICU experience strongly preferred
  • Neuro ICU or cardiac ICU experience may be considered
  • Ability to manage high-acuity patients and multiple critical-care drips
  • Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification required
  • NIHSS certification required

Unit & Patient Population

  • Unit: ICU & CCU
  • Beds: 20
  • Typical Ratio: 1:2; may be 1:1 depending on acuity
  • Patient Population: High-acuity ICU patients, including neurological, cardiac, post-operative, and post-cath patients
  • Drips: Vasoactive and sedative infusions including vasopressors, dobutamine, dopamine, propofol, fentanyl, and others
  • Ventilators: Yes
  • CRRT: No
  • ECMO: No
  • RT: Available 24/7
  • Pharmacy: Available 24/7
  • IV Team: No
  • Charge Nurse: Yes
  • Nurse Aides: Yes
  • Monitor Tech: No; RNs are responsible for rhythm interpretation
  • EMR: Cerner
