Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. This role requires a dedicated professional to work within a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to patients with complex medical needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate and evidence-based nursing care to patients in ICU and IMCU settings.
• Monitor patients' conditions, document changes, and implement appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and execute patient care plans.
• Utilize advanced medical devices, including IABP and IMPELLA, as part of patient treatment.
• Float between ICU and IMCU as necessary to meet patient care needs.

Qualifications

• Must possess a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a similar setting.
• Demonstrated expertise in cardiothoracic surgery nursing.
• Current certifications in BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) are required.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records is essential.
• Must have been separated from previous employment for a minimum of 6 months to be considered.

Schedule and Orientation

This position requires rotating day and night shifts, including weekend rotations every other week. Candidates working through winter holidays should be prepared to cover a total of 2 holidays. Orientation sessions are conducted weekly.

Scrubs of any color are acceptable for this position.
