This role involves providing specialized care for critically ill patients, with responsibilities that include monitoring vital signs, administering medication, and collaborating with medical teams. The position requires flexibility to work rotating day and night shifts with a schedule supporting at least 36 hours per week.
Job Details
Position Description: ICU RN responsible for delivering high-level patient care in a critical care environment, adhering to established protocols and practices.
Required Qualifications: Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) AHA, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) AHA (preferred). Education Requirements: Graduation from an accredited nursing program. Degree Requirements: RN license. Location Requirements: Must be separated from the organization for at least 6 months if previously employed there. Experience Requirements: 0 years minimum. Schedule: 12-hour shifts rotating between days and nights, four-week blocks, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: The assignment includes rotating 12-hour shifts (7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. and 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.), every other weekend, with no Christmas time off approved. The RN will float to various units including Emergency Department holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding areas, with floating in 4-hour blocks while on shift. Level 1 trauma experience is preferred; if no prior travel experience, level 1 trauma experience will be required. The start date for this assignment is October 26, 2026, with an end date of April 24, 2027.
