AHS Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Travel ICU RN | Nights | 6 openings
Assignment: 9/28/26–1/18/27 (16 weeks)
Schedule: 3×12 nights, 6:30 PM–7:00 AM
Guaranteed: 36 hrs/week, except orientation
Unit: 23-bed mixed Medical/Surgical + Thoracic/Cardiovascular ICU
Charting: Epic
Trauma: Level III
Facility: Teaching hospital
Scrubs: Black
Candidate requirements This is a high-acuity ICU position. They need at least 3 years of recent ICU experience, and no first-time travelers. Candidate must have Epic experience within the last year plus BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. The ICU sees respiratory failure, ARDS, CHF/COPD, STEMI/post-arrest, CABG/open hearts, carotids, DKA, GI bleeds, overdose/ETOH withdrawal, CVA/TNK, and renal failure. Nurses titrate pressors, sedation, paralytics, insulin, heparin, etc. Competent nurses may also take IABP, Impella, CRRT, and open-heart recovery patients. Ratios: 1:1–1:3 depending on acuity. Travelers are first to float and can receive a team of up to 5 patients when floating.
