Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse based in the area. This position involves providing specialized critical care to adult patients across multiple ICU campuses, with rotating shifts that include day and night rotations. The role requires flexibility to float between campuses and units, supporting various intensive care environments and patient needs.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, rotating between day and night shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The schedule includes weekend rotations, with shifts starting at 0700-1930 and 1900-0730 hours.
• Required Qualifications: Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification, at least 4 years of ICU experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with managing arterial lines, ventilated patients, chest tube insertion/removal, and neuro-critical care procedures. Prior experience working in a hospital or trauma ICU is beneficial.
• Float: Float to three ICU campuses and step-down units including TICU and PCU. Support may include floating to Emergency Departments or Medical/Surgical floors if ICU coverage is not needed.
• Additional Information: The role includes handling complex procedures such as invasive line management, neuro-critical care, cardiac surgery post-operative care, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), and advanced monitoring techniques. Candidates must complete required onboarding modules during orientation and verify work history for the past 7 years.
