Job Summary ICU Nurse, located in Michigan, is responsible for providing high-quality bedside nursing care within the Intensive Care Unit. This role involves collaborating with physicians to develop and implement patient care plans, overseeing delegated tasks, and ensuring optimal health outcomes for patients. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment with a focus on evidence-based practice and professional growth.
Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 48 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Two or more years of ICU experience; comfortable with floating to Emergency Department and Step Down units; BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications; ability to document TCAR, TNCC, CCRN, SCRN certifications are a plus; travel experience preferred; neuro surgical and open heart experience preferred.
Additional Information: Responsible for integrating evidence-based knowledge into practice, delegation and coordination of nursing care, participating in patient conferences, discharge planning, teaching, mentoring, and serving as a team leader. Must demonstrate effective communication and organizational skills. Submission requirements include proof of ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS certifications.
