Start Dates: October or November Contract: 13 weeks Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Hours: 36 or 48 hrs/week Travelers: First-time travelers accepted
Unit / Assignment
ICU Float Pool
24 beds per adult ICU
Float to:
ICU
MS/Telemetry
PCU/Stepdown
Overflow units
Overflow PACU
Adult & geriatric patients
Weekend requirement: At least 6 weekend shifts every 6 weeks
Floating is required
No scheduling requests accommodated
Must work 3 of 5 holidays
Must-Have Requirements
2+ years ICU experience
2+ years ICU experience at a 400+ bed facility for first-time travelers
Active California RN license in hand at submission
No pending/temp license
ACLS
BLS
NIHSS
Epic experience
PA line / Swan-Ganz experience – HARD STOP
Must have performed Swan-Ganz recently; candidates without the required experience should not be submitted
Must pass EKG exam on the first day of orientation
Flu vaccine required – no exemptions/declinations
