Registered Nurse (RN) - Critical Care

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with a specialization in Critical Care to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and response to therapies.
• Implement and manage treatment plans effectively.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Float to the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed.

Shift Details

Shifts will be 12-hour night shifts, with a total of 36-48 hours per week. Weekend and holiday availability is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of current Critical Care nursing experience.
• Willingness to float to the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as necessary.
• Experience with ventilators, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Experience with Meditech Expanse is strongly preferred.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification is preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Must have a valid Massachusetts RN license (in-hand).
• Active certifications in BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association are required.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification is required.
