Registered Nurse (RN)

We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Float Pool. This position involves working in various intensive care units, including Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn ICU, and Trauma Surgery. The ideal candidate will be flexible, adaptable, and possess a comprehensive understanding of critical care nursing.

Position Details

• Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
• Every other weekend availability and holiday shifts may be required.
• Alternate shift option: 4x12-hour shifts available for interested travelers.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care across various critical care units. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and monitoring patient conditions.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Providing education and support to patients and their families.
• Adhering to all safety and infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• Current WI RN or compact RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only).
• Experience in multiple ICU units preferred.
• Telemetry test to be passed prior to starting the position.
