Job Title: Infection Preventionist Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Infection Prevention Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year of infection prevention experience required License: Compact license must be in hand at submission Certifications: CIC certified required Must-Have: EPIC experience highly preferred Description: The Infection Preventionist role involves working independently in infection prevention. Experience in acute care is required. Infection prevention experience is essential. Candidates do not need to be Registered Nurses; degrees in Public Health, Lab Sciences, Microbiology, or related health sciences will also be considered. House supervisors with infection prevention experience may be considered. This position requires no weekends or holidays. The facility has a total of 426 staffed beds.
