Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Infusion Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Compact license required Certifications: BLS, REMS training for Tysabri administration (if not previously obtained) Must-Have: - Experience in IV infusion, emergency treatment for reactions, management of infusion therapy, and care for patients with specialties in Oncology, MS, GI, Neuro, and Transplant. - Ability to start and maintain IVs, manage central lines, and administer blood products. Description: This position requires a registered nurse to provide care in an ambulatory infusion center. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of nursing experience. Experience in infusion therapy and management of patients with complex diagnoses such as oncology, multiple sclerosis, gastrointestinal disorders, neurological conditions, and transplant care is essential. The schedule includes four 10-hour shifts, with no weekends or holidays required. This role involves monitoring patients during infusions, managing reactions, and ensuring safe administration of medications. Candidates will need to obtain essential certifications and training prior to starting. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment is expected. Flexibility to float between facilities may be required. All candidates must be willing to commit to the contracted hours and responsibilities associated with the assignment.
