Job Summary
The organization is seeking an Ambulatory Oncology Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) for a position at a cancer center in the Infusion specialty. This role involves providing patient-focused outpatient infusion care in a fast-paced environment, including administering chemotherapy, biological, and immunotherapy treatments. The RN will be responsible for ensuring safe, effective patient care through skilled infusion procedures and ongoing patient assessments.

Job Details

• Location: The organizations cancer treatment center
• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: RN license; 2+ years of RN experience; BLS certification; chemo, biological, and immunotherapy provider card; proficient in IV insertions, blood drawing, and central line management; additional certifications such as Epic experience, ACLS, and travel or emergency room experience are preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Oncology infusion experience, Epic/Beacon experience, previous travel experience, emergency room experience, and very proficient in IV insertions and assessments.
• Additional Information: Must have experience with peripheral intravenous insertions and blood draws, be able to monitor patients continuously, and intervene rapidly if needed. Must be familiar with accessing, maintaining, and de-accessing central lines, and providing ongoing patient education in a supportive environment.
• Submission Requirements: Verify if the candidate has previously worked with any Johns Hopkins facilities, and ensure they have been away for at least one year if reapplying as a traveler.
