Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Infusion Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Active nursing license Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Oncology and surgical experience Description: This position is for a registered nurse specializing in infusion. The nurse will work in a fast-paced oncology environment. The unit is an acute care medical/surgical oncology inpatient setting. Skilled nursing care is provided to patients undergoing surgery, chemotherapy, or biological therapies. The role includes providing aggressive curative therapy, symptom management, and palliative care. Nurses are expected to manage complex patient needs. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential. Flexibility with scheduling and weekend availability is required. Travel nurses will float within the hospital as needed. Experience with EPIC charting is required. Nurses will oversee the administration of medications and treatments per protocols. Ongoing education and patient/family support are fundamental aspects of the role.
