Job Summary Infusion Nurse - INFUSION A healthcare provider in a medical center is seeking a qualified Infusion Nurse to join their team. This position involves administering infusion therapy, including chemotherapy, within an outpatient infusion center. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and providing quality patient care in a dynamic clinical environment.
Job Details
Certifications: Active American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required.
Education Requirements: Iowa or multistate license required; infusion experience of at least 24 months in a hospital or medical center setting and outpatient infusion center experience required.
Position Description: Responsible for infusion therapy, including chemotherapy administration, in a hospital or outpatient setting. Must have at least 24 months of infusion/infusion therapy experience, with outpatient infusion experience required. Capable of working within an Epic electronic medical record system.
Schedule: Days shift, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Experience: Minimum of 24 months of infusion experience required; may accept first-time travel candidates if they have at least 2 years of infusion experience.
Additional Information: Candidates must not have worked travel at the facility within the past 12 months due to employment separation policy. All candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility (based on drivers license). Holiday work may be required, with a need to work 1-2 of the upcoming summer holidays. The assignment spans from 10/26/2026 to 01/25/2027.
