Travel Nurse RN - Infusion - $2,311 per week in Knoxville, TN

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Infusion Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years of current experience in infusion/chemotherapy License: Active Registered Nurse license required Certifications: BLS; ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Certification required (can be obtained after offer) Must-Have: - Chemotherapy and infusion experience Description: This position involves providing nursing care for patients receiving chemotherapy and other infusions. Candidates must have experience in managing patients undergoing chemotherapy. Responsibilities include accessing and managing ports, administering blood and blood products, and chemotherapy medication. Nurses will be expected to educate patients and their families about treatment plans and potential side effects. The role will involve monitoring patients during infusions and managing any adverse reactions. Nurses will float to various locations based on staffing needs. No nights, weekends, holidays, or call required. Travelers requesting time off during holiday periods will not be accommodated. This position requires strong skills in patient care and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be proficient in central line care and IV administration. Knowledge of patient safety and infection control procedures is essential. The work will support a variety of infusion therapies, including supportive care medications and hydration.
