Description:
This position requires an experienced Infusion Registered Nurse.
The candidate must possess a valid RN license and ONS certification.
Experience in an infusion center is essential.
The Infusion RN will work variable days, including every other weekend.
The role includes administering chemotherapy and managing ports.
Candidates must be certified in chemo-bio and have experience with IV push administration.
The nurse will handle body fluids post-chemotherapy and adhere to isolation precautions.
The Infusion RN must be able to recognize and communicate abnormal lab values.
Neutropenic precautions are part of the responsibilities.
