Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Infusion Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Valid state RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ONS/ONCC Certification required Must-Have: - Prior travel experience required - Experience with Epic charting system preferred - Charge experience preferred Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specialized in Infusion. The role involves working with patients in the Infusion/Chemo department. The department is experiencing growth and expansion. The nurse will be responsible for administering chemotherapy and managing infusion therapies. Candidates must have skills in accessing and managing ports. Experience in administering blood products and chemotherapy is necessary. The nurse will also provide patient and family education and support. Candidates should be comfortable monitoring patients for side effects and complications. Managing IVs and understanding the administration of various medications is essential. The nurse will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary support team. Candidates should be prepared to educate patients about treatment plans and procedures. This position will involve caring for adult and geriatric patients. The daily census is growing, with multiple infusion chairs available.
